Resumen: Diseño basado en el desempeño es un cambio importante a los conceptos de diseño estructurales tradicionales y la ingeniería sísmica, proporciona un método para determinar niveles aceptables de daños del terremoto.
Ceder no constituye el fracaso y el planeamiento previo del desplazamiento de ciertos miembros de una estructura durante un terremoto en realidad puede ayudar a salvar al resto de la estructura.
En este seminario lleno de tecnología, Ashraf presentará la teoría y la aplicación práctica del análisis no lineal y el diseño basado en el desempeño en términos y analogías que son muy familiares para el ingeniero estructural que en ejercicio.
